Transportation - Tricycle Franchise (New/Renewal)
Transportation Regulatory Office *All Public Motorized Tricycles (PMTs) and Utility Motorized Tricycles (UMTs) new or old shall apply for a franchise before operation within the city jurisdiction.
SECURING NEW/RENEWAL OF TRICYCLE FRANCHISE

Account clearance *TODA Pres. Certification l. Tricycle Unit - the sidecar must be painted with white of one-inch blue stripe painted horizontally. Body number must be painted with color, which corresponds with the zone/route/line of operation applied as provided in the Tricycle Ordinance 2002 – 27. | | | 5. *Secure a checklist of the requirements | | | | 6. Upon completion of requirements and clearances return to TRO for evaluation. | | | | 7. If approved, the applicant will be assigned a sticker No. and will be entered in the logbook. | | | | 8. TRO will prepare the franchise, which will be signed by the applicant and the authorized staff of TRO. | | | | 9. Proceed to City Administrator’s Office for the acquisition and approval of the Mayor’s Permit. | | | | 10 Upon approval of Mayor’s Permit, return to TRO for the release of the franchise (LTO copy and owner’s copy) and sticker. | | |
Note: Upon expiration of OR, the TRO will hold pending papers and the applicant for renewal will only be given the LTO copy, until his/her OR is updated. B. Terminating/Suspending Operation *All Public Motorized Tricycle (PMT) Operators and Owners who decides to terminate or suspend operation should report to the Transportation Regulation Office (TRO) such termination or suspension
