Social welfare - Certificate of Indigency
The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) provides free legal assistance to indigents. It requires a Certificate of Indigency to acquire this service.
| Steps | Requirements | Fees | 1. Registration A client writes his/her name and purpose of the visit on the logbook, and affixes his /her signature. | Barangay Certificate of Indigency | No fees required | 2. Interview CSWD officer shall interview the client to get pertinent information; client may be required to sketch of his/her residence for home visits. The interview shall be recorded in an intake sheet. | | | 3. Home Visit CSWD conducts a home visit to the client, if necessary. | | | 4. Preparation of certificate A CSWD personnel prepares a social case study and three (3) copies of the report shall be printed. | | | 5. Approval & Release of Certificate CSWD Chief Officer approves the social case study report and the client is provided with his/her copy. | | |
