- Alaminians woke the city’s central business district with their celebration of the Halloween starting on October 28, 2005. The LGU family led the Street Cleanup, followed by a small parade of Day Care Pupils and employees. After the parade, the Philippine National Red Cross proceeded with the Blood Donation and PNRC Raffle Draw.

- OCTOBER 27, 2005 – Eighty-four city government officials and staff of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Baguio City visited the City of Alaminos on October 27, 2005 as part of their career/performance development.

- The City of Alaminos is now officially a sister city of Marikina City. This was made possible by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) of Sister City Alliance by Alaminos City Mayor Hernani Braganza Marikina City Mayor Ma. Lourdes Fernando and some of their respective city government officials as witnesses, on the morning of October 21, 2005 at the Kap. Moy Bldg, Bulwagan ng Bayani, Marikina City.

- Tagaytay City - The City earned success in the 3-day Team building Seminar/Workshop on October 21-23, 2005 with a theme "Align Aspirations, Achieve the Collective Vision" , aiming to strengthen its commitment to achieve its vision of a model city through its Ten-Point agenda by the cooperative spirit of each city government official.

- ALAMINOS CITY – Finally after 65 years, Alaminos City can now claim ownership of the world-famous Hundred Islands, which the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) formally turned over to the city government in a festive ceremony at the Lucap wharf here last Thursday morning.
