Baguio Pays a Visit
Date: October 28, 2005

OCTOBER 27, 2005 – Eighty-four city government officials and staff of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Baguio City visited the City of Alaminos on October 27, 2005 as part of their career/performance development.

Headed by their Vice-Mayor Reinaldo A. Bautista, the delegates paid a courtesy call to Alaminos City Mayor Hernani A. Braganza. After a brief acquaintance of both parties, the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) headed by Engr. Roel T. Anonuevo briefed them on the Development Plans and Programs of the Alaminos City.

Engr. Anonuevo discussed Alaminos City’s development paradigm, which is centered on the 10 Point Agenda, which would lead to sustainable growth and development. Moreover, Mayor Braganza mentioned the possibility of a Sisterhood Agreement with Baguio City. For him, the agreement would build a closer tie between the two cities, in turn, linking resources together for economic purposes. To this, the Baguio City officials responded favorably.
