Barangays
Barangay Polo is located at the northern part of the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan. In the early days of the 19th century, according to elders, Pangapisan was a sitio of Barangay Polo. Barangay Polo is surrounded by water that is why it was called “Polo,” a native dialect which means “island.” Its land area is 3,075 hectares. About 326 hectares is riceland and 105 hectares, fishpond.
