Barangays
In 1972, San Roque was created as a Barangay. Its name was given in honor of their Patron Saint Roque. Barangay San Roque was formerly a part of Barangay Pogo and is located at the western part. A certain census indicated that this area has a population that would suffice as a new Barangay. Hence, the inhabitants petitioned for so and was approved.
