Together with the City Budget Office, this team, led by Mrs. Shirley dela Cruz, is tasked to manage and steady the city’s finances. The budget office is the indispensable arm that plans the amount and the flow of funds, the treasurer’s office is the dynamic team that makes sure there ARE funds that will be budgeted to all the needs of the city.

They accomplish these through the diligent tax campaigns and devising efficient plans to collect local income more effectively, as well as ensuring that all city government dues are duly paid.

  MANDATE

   Take charge in the collection of various taxes, fees and charges. Ensure proper management and disbursement of all funds of the City and to update tax payers on the latest ordinances pertaining to local revenues and taxes.

FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

 
 Maintenance and operation services under the Office of the City Treasurer includes administrative services, collection and disbursement services and tax campaign.

  GOAL

    To lessen our IRA dependency and to maximize our collections from all local revenue sources in order to provide sufficient funds for the implementation of the programs and projects of our City.

OBJECTIVES

 
 To minimize percentage of delinquent taxes if not a zero percent delinquency and to attain a 100% collection efficiency.
